About
Ruijin (瑞金风景名胜区) is a national park of China (ninth batch, designated by the State Council in 2017), located in Ruijin, Ganzhou, Jiangxi.
The scenic area is in Ruijin, Ganzhou, Jiangxi, and centres on revolutionary sites from the Central Soviet Area, at Yeping, Shazhoubai and Yunshi Hill, with natural scenery such as Luohan Rock.
Ruijin was the seat of the Provisional Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic, founded in 1931. Yeping has the former government site and the martyrs' memorial tower; Shazhoubai has the Red Well and the former assembly hall; Yunshi Hill has the site from which the Long March set off.
Travel tips
Ruijin is in southeastern Jiangxi, about two hours by road from Ganzhou, and can also be reached from Longyan or Changting in Fujian. The sites are close together; one to two days is enough. Spring and autumn are comfortable, while summer is hot and wet.
