Baiyun Mountain, in the south of Song County, Luoyang, belongs to the Funiu range and takes its name, “White Cloud”, from the clouds that often fill it. Its main peak, Yuhuangding, rises to 2,216 meters. The mountain is known for its seas of clouds, forests and canyons, and is a national forest park and nature reserve.
