Xiapu Mudflats, Fujian 福建霞浦滩涂
Xiapu, in northeastern Fujian, has a winding coast and wide mudflats. Fishermen plant bamboo poles and hang nets to farm laver and kelp, and as the tide rises and falls the poles, fish rafts, boats and shining water form ever-changing patterns, making it a well-known place for photography.
