The Yongle Palace is a Yuan-dynasty Taoist temple dedicated to Lü Dongbin. It once stood in Yongle Town and was moved as a whole to the north of Ruicheng County town when the Sanmenxia Reservoir was built. The Yuan murals in the Hall of the Three Pure Ones and other halls, vast in area, crowded with figures and drawn in flowing lines, are masterpieces of ancient Chinese wall painting.
