Memorial of the First CPC Congress, Shanghai 上海中共一大纪念馆
The memorial stands on Xingye Road in Huangpu, Shanghai. The site is a row of grey-brick shikumen houses banded with red brick and carved over the doorways, a typical Shanghai shikumen design. The First National Congress of the Communist Party of China met here in 1921. Together with the memorials of the Second and Fourth Congresses it forms one 5A scenic area.
