Shanghai Museum 上海博物馆
The Shanghai Museum, on the south side of People's Square, is devoted mainly to ancient Chinese art. The building is round above and square below, after the old idea of a round heaven and a square earth. It is best known for its bronzes, ceramics, painting and calligraphy, with further galleries for sculpture, jade, coins and furniture.
