The Laotieshan Lighthouse stands on the Laotieshan headland at the southern tip of the Liaodong Peninsula. Built in the Guangxu reign of the Qing for the naval port of Lüshun, it is still in use. The sea below is where the Yellow Sea meets the Bohai Sea; the waters differ in colour, and a dividing line can often be seen.
