Dixin Gorge, Jianshi, Hubei 湖北建始地心谷
Dixin Gorge, also called Shimen River, is a limestone gorge in Gaoping Town, Jianshi County and a national 4A scenic area. The stream has cut a deep, narrow channel in its floor; the rock walls are built of stacked layers, worn smooth and curved by the water, and the water runs a clear green. Visitors look down on the torrent from walkways on the cliffs.
