Jiumenkou lies on the Liaoning–Hebei border in Suizhong County. Here the Ming Great Wall crosses the Jiujiang River on a bridge-like wall pierced by nine arched gates, joined at both ends to the walls on the hills. It is a rare river pass on the Great Wall, also called Yipianshi Pass.
