Maple Bridge, Suzhou 苏州枫桥
The Maple Bridge is a single-arch stone bridge on the old canal west of Suzhou, close to Hanshan Temple and the Tieling Pass. Zhang Ji's Tang poem "Night Mooring by Maple Bridge" – "The moon sets, crows caw, frost fills the sky; river maples and fishing lights face my sleepless sorrow" – made the little bridge famous. The present bridge was rebuilt in the Qing.
