The Archaeological Museum of China, near the Olympic Park in Beijing, is run by the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and shows finds from decades of its excavations. The galleries run from prehistory to the Ming and Qing, presenting the main achievements of Chinese archaeology.
