Beijing’s Olympic Park, at the northern end of the city’s central axis, was built for the 2008 Summer Olympics and used again for the 2022 Winter Games. The venues, among them the National Stadium (the “Bird’s Nest”) and the National Aquatics Center (the “Water Cube”), stand in the south; the Olympic Forest Park fills the north.
