Kashgar Old City, Xinjiang 新疆喀什噶尔老城
The Old City of Kashgar, in the center of the city, covers just over four square kilometers of winding, maze-like lanes lined with traditional Uyghur houses of earth, timber and brick. The Id Kah Mosque stands on its western side, and its bazaars are busy with trade.
