Lingaojiao Lighthouse, Lingao, Hainan 海南临高角灯塔
The Lingaojiao Lighthouse stands on Cape Lingao in northwest Hainan. Built in the late Qing, it is an important navigation mark at the western entrance of the Qiongzhou Strait and is still in use. The cape juts into the Beibu Gulf, with rocks and beaches along the shore, and is a place to watch the sun set over the sea.
