Binglanggu (Areca Valley), Baoting, Hainan 海南保亭槟榔谷
Binglanggu lies around Ganshiling at the southern tip of Baoting County, surrounded by areca groves and rainforest, and presents the villages and customs of the Li and Miao. It has Li boat-shaped houses, granaries and brocade workshops; Li traditional spinning, dyeing, weaving and embroidering techniques are on UNESCO's list of intangible cultural heritage in need of urgent safeguarding.
