Four sites in northern Huangpi – Mulan Mountain, Mulan Tianchi, Mulan Grassland and Mulan Yunwu Mountain – form one scenic area themed on the legend of Hua Mulan. Mulan Mountain, a southern offshoot of the Dabie Mountains, carries a group of old buildings protected by Hubei Province; Mulan Tianchi is a lake among the hills.
