Youyang's Peach Blossom Spring, at the edge of Youyang town, is made up of karst caves such as the Taigu Cave and the valley beyond them: through the cave mouth lie fields and farmhouses, along with a reconstructed "Qin people's village". Locally it is said to be the model for Tao Yuanming's Peach Blossom Spring.
