The Great Motherland
The Great Motherland was one of the earliest special stamp series of the People’s Republic, issued in five groups from 1952 to 1954 and numbered across the whole series. This page has the first and third groups (Dunhuang murals), the fourth (ancient inventions) and the fifth (ancient relics); the second group (S5), on construction, is not included.
