Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon, Nyingchi, Tibet 西藏林芝雅鲁藏布大峡谷
Near Pai in Mainling, the Yarlung Tsangpo meets the barrier of the Himalaya, swings around Namcha Barwa in a great horseshoe bend and cuts through the eastern end of the range, forming a canyon about 500 kilometers long and up to some 6,000 meters deep, one of the deepest on Earth. The visitor area lies near Pai at the canyon's entrance.
