Anren, in Dayi County on the western Chengdu Plain, is a Famous Historical and Cultural Town of China, with whole streets of western-Sichuan-style Ming and Qing buildings and mansions of the Republican era. The Liu Family Manor in the town is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
