The Xiaoshang Bridge in southern Linying County is a single-span open-spandrel stone arch bridge, with small arches opened in the shoulders of the main arch – a design like that of the Zhaozhou Bridge. It is said to date from the Sui and was repaired in the Song and Yuan; the stone carvings on its railings and arch are simple and lively.
